Our Mission and History

Islamic Book Centre was established in 2003 CE / 1424 AH, by Moulana Moosa Karmadi, on Halliwell Road, Bolton. By the grace of Allah SWT, Islamic Book Centre soon extended it’s arm by establishing an affiliate branch in West Yorkshire, becoming the largest wholesale and retail supplier of Islamic books in the UK.

We import books from Beirut, Pakistan, India and Saudi Arabia. Our large selection of titles and genres are regularly supplied to Madrasahs, Libraries, Prisons, Schools, Universities, Bookshops and the General Public. We pride ourselves in offering a modest pricing structure which cannot be matched by any other bookshop vendor in the UK.

Our mission at "Islamic Book Centre" is to make the teachings and wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) more available and accessible to the Muslim Ummah. Furthermore, our aim is to promote an accurate representation of Islam by providing correct information, thereby encouraging individual responsibility for seeking and acting upon the Truth.

We pray that Almighty Allah records this effort as a good deed, done in defence of His religion (Islam) and solely for His pleasure. May He make it reach and benefit those who need it the most, and overlook our shortcomings by showering the entire Ummah with His mercy in this world and purifying us for the hereafter.
